Asal's Story

​

Asal is an Architect and Project Manager living in Australia, but her journey began long before her life here. In 2010, at just 18 years old, she set out across Asia, Europe, and Australia to pursue her bachelor’s and master’s degrees—searching not only for education, but for a place where she could truly belong.

Like many immigrants, Asal spent years moving between cultures, cities, and identities, trying to find a sense of home. Amid the transitions, she discovered that the one constant grounding her was her art. Designing became a way to stay connected to her Persian heritage—its poetry, its geometry, its colours, and its timeless stories. Through creating, she found comfort, strength, and eventually, a deep understanding that “home” is not always a physical place. Sometimes, it’s something you build within yourself.

From this realization, HONEÉ was born.

HONEÉ is Asal’s sanctuary—a space where her architectural eye, her artistic passion, and her Persian roots meet. Each design carries a piece of that journey: modern reinterpretations of traditional Persian motifs, symbols, and stories that have shaped her identity.
